Dimitrios Lyras, MD, PhD

Dr. Lyras joined Peak Orthopedics and Spine from Athens, Greece as a clinical and research fellow under the supervision of Drs. Greenhow and Loucks. His fellowship was in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction from December 2013 to June 2014 at Sky Ridge Medical Center and included the following experiences:

• Anterior Minimal Invasive Hip Replacement
• Revision Hip Arthroplasty through anterior approach
• Patient Specific Instrument Knee Replacement
• Unicopartmental Knee Replacement
• Patellofemoral Knee Replacement
• Revision Knee Replacement

In conjunction with Drs. Greenhow and Loucks, Dr. Lyras completed two research studies during his tenure at Peak Orthopedics and Spine which have been submitted for publication in peer-reviewed Orthopedic surgery journals. He also prepared a textbook on Anterior approach total hip replacement which is in the process of being published.
